Shipping Notices

Every order is hand-packed in a reusable Styrofoam cooler. In’t Veld’s ships its specialty meats fully cooked and frozen in vacuum-sealed packages. Next, lots of dry ice or reusable gel packs are positioned on top of the meat to ensure the product reaches you in great condition. Our products are cured and fully cooked so when your order arrives, it may not still be frozen but is safe to eat and should be stored in the refrigerator. All smoked and cured products may be kept in your refrigerator for 7–10 days or refrozen for 3–6 months.

We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure the shortest time in transit. If transit times fall on a weekend, packages will ship the following week. For gift shipments, please double-check the address and make sure the recipient is available for delivery. We can only ship to actual street addresses and not to P.O. boxes. In’t Veld’s Meat Market is not responsible for shipment delays caused by adverse or unpredictable weather conditions.

USDA rules and regulations do not allow us to accept returns for food products. In’t Veld’s is not responsible if the order is delayed by the shipping company. Please use the tracking information your receive via email to file a claim on your own behalf with the shipper.

ALL OUT OF STATE orders that have a transit time of more than 3 days, may require additional shipping charges for expediting the package to ensure the quality of the product.

We look forward to shipping you our award winning meat products. The holiday shipping schedule is as follows: No shipping the week of November 22-26 (Thanksgiving). Last shipping to arrive for Christmas delivery will be Tuesday, December 14. All other orders will be held until the first week of January 2022.
